John Hahn "Out of the Shadows" - Pennsylvania based guitarist JOHN HAHN's instrumental debut solo CD "OUT OF THE SHADOWS" is without a doubt the most impressive instrumental debut released in a decade!! John has the uncanny ability to fuse technique, emotion, dynamics, arrangements, feel composition, flash and fury! In simpler terms, the complete player.

John has been featured in such magazines as GUITAR PLAYER and METAL EDGE. Also John has appeared in numerous regional magazines in the eastern United States.

We feel once the guitar enthusiasts are made aware of John's talents he will become "The next big thing" in guitar. His modernistic approach to all facets of his playing make this "a very now" recording.

Leading off with the anthem "RHINO STOMP" and working his way thru such impressive tracks as "CAPTAIN COURAGEOUS", "CUT TO THE CHASE", "OUTWARD BOUND" and "WARM SUMMER RAIN" you can't help but be impressed with the overall pleasure. Also featured on drums is Carl Canedy formerly of the legendary "RODS". John also found time to compose, produce and play bass on this ground breaking release.

JOHN HAHN "OUT OF THE SHADOWS." Six words that should put John into the higher echelon of today's guitar stars. A very impressive debut!!

Thick As Thieves "Rock the House" - Be on the lookout for "Rock the House," the debut release from Thick As Thieves. The band is described as hard edged and melodic. They are to be considered dangerously addictive and armed to the teeth with rock hard rhythms, searing vocals, blazing leads, and a heavy arsenal of killer tunes. They have stolen the attention of any and all who hear their new release. Approach with extreme caution! YOU MAY BE NEXT!

This power trio from the Northeastern United States has turned out a "no holds barred" collection of "melodic hard rock" songs sure to steal its way onto every radio play list around the world.

John Hahn (guitars/backing vocals) - John's previous release "Out of the Shadows" on Leviathan Records (U.S.), Zero Records (Japan), and Killerwatt (Europe) has shot him into the limelight gaining him much international praise and recognition in such publications as "Guitar World," "Guitar School," "Rip," "Guitar Player" and "Guitar for the Practicing Musician." As for live experience, John has covered MANY miles on the road, touring the U.S. and Canada an average of 4 nights a week for 8 years; that's over 1600 shows!!

In Thick As Thieves, John's "over the top" playing is evident throughout, from his ripping rhythms in "Rock the House" and "Eye of the Storm," funky groovin' in "Sacrifice" and "Spellbound," to the sweet acoustic lines in "Say Good-bye" and first section of "Shed a Tear." As for solo work, John lights up every track with his unique soloing style that "fuses technique, emotion, dynamics, feel, flash and furry!" His work will definitely thrill guitar enthusiasts. You gotta' hear this boy play!!!

John Hahn "Guitar Masters" - John Hahn, along with many other top notch guitarists have all recorded Cds that start out with the same bass and drum tracks. Then each guitarist lays down his own unique and original guitar tracks over the bass and drums. No player hears the other tracks before they have finished with their own Cd. Each player has his own Guitar Masters Cd as well as compilation Cds that has each player playing against the same tracks. It really is an eye opener to hear how each player attacks these tracks.

John Hahn burst onto the guitar hero scene with his all instrumental masterpiece "Out of the Shadows". Ever since then guitar fans of the world have been screaming for another instrumental release.

John's vocal band, Thick As Thieves, released the well-received "Rock The House" that of course showcased John's tasty and intense playing…

In the meantime John has joined up with the Diginet Guitar Masters and released his take on the tracks. It shows that John has some serious chops. A must have for all fans of instrumental guitar Cds!!

John Hahn "Mind Games" (Guitar Masters CD) - John Hahn, along with many other top notch guitarists have all recorded Cds that start out with the same bass and drum tracks.

This CD, like its predecessor features John’s unique guitar voice and approach as he attacks the tracks; from tasteful melodic passages to blazing high-speed shred combining structure, freeform jamming and elegant modal phrasings, he tears up each track

John Hahn "Darkness Falls" - Once again John Hahn has created a collection of songs that clearly have his signature all over them. It's a given that John is a guitarist's guitarist but it can't be overlooked that he's also an excellent song writer and arranger. John's fluid style and sound make this collection not just "another" guitar album but an album that musically runs the gamut from beautiful to nasty and back. It reminds you of why you loved this type of album in the first place.  Every song takes you on a sonic journey that only the truly great musicians are able to do.

"I'm thrilled and very proud to announce the release of 'Darkness Falls', the next chapter in my musical journey. The vibe of this CD is a bit darker, heavier, and more progressive than my previous releases with tons of guitar. I've managed to capture some of my best tones and performances on this release. This disc nails all the characteristics that I look for and love to hear in an instrumental guitar release and was lots of fun to write and record. I hope you enjoy listening to ‘Darkness Falls’ as much as I did recording it! Cheers!!"

Canedy "Headbanger" - Carl Canedy, thunderous drummer extraordinaire from The Rod's has released his solo debut "Headbanger" (Carl also played drums on my debut "Out of the Shadows" instrumental release). I was asked and jumped at the opportunity to play guitar throughout this release. I covered lead and rhythm guitars throughout, bass on one track and on two occasions traded guitar solos with none other than Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Chris Caffery!! In addition to Carl, I had the privilege of sharing sonic space with amazing vocalists including Mark Tornillo (Accept), Joe Comeau (Annihilator, Liege Lord and Overkill) and none other than the greatest metal voice of all time, Ronnie James Dio (vocal tracks pulled from previously recorded version of The Code)!! Some quotes from Carl - "...I reached out to people I admired. John Hahn was my first choice for guitar. John Hahn is a star in his own right. He has many followers of his solo albums, and his days as a Mike Varney Guitar Player discovery. He’s been a friend, and we’ve worked well together over the years. I’m grateful for his support and talent on this album. It would not be the same without him... John Hahn was really the key to getting it done. He offered to do all of the guitars on the album and that was the piece I needed. I can never thank him enough for sharing his talent so unselfishly..." Good times my friends!!

John Hahn “Undiscovered World” -  Over these many years through my musical journey - playing, touring (estimated over 1600 shows), writing and recording, I have had the pleasure of meeting and making friends with so many people and have shared a lifetime of incredible memories! Guitar is my passion, and this new release is a snapshot of where I am at this point in time as a player and writer. It is my hope that as my style evolves, current friends and fans will enjoy the material as well as introducing a new audience to my music. I feel as though I have captured my best writing and playing in this release. Please spread the word…for many, my music is still an “Undiscovered World”.
